Yesterday, we toured the temples.
Entering the South Gate to Angkor Thom (the ancient capital area) in the morning.
The demons and guards leading to the South Gate.
Exploring the Bayon, the main temple within Angkor Thom.
Ta Phrom, a temple that's been encompassed by the jungle.
Back to Angkor Wat - retaking a picture I have from 8 years ago.
We climbed up a precariously steep and narrow staircase to get to the top level of Angkor.
And in the evening, at a temple on top of a hill overlooking the whole ancient city, Lena found a stone lion whose butt she thought was cute.
Different moods throughout the day.

Fantasticheskie mesta, nado obyazatelno poehat.

Hey--we have all these pictures from a few weeks ago---only without Lena or you in them, of course. And we took the "road" to Bangkok after leaving Siem Reap. I'm amazed you were there 8 years ago and did okay with touring--it sounds like there were still lots of mines around the temples then. You really were living a video game!
