We've posted some pictures of our trip to the ancient site of My Son here.
My Son is the Vietnamese equivalent of Angkor Wat in Cambodia or Bagan in Burma, built and used over a millenium from about the 5th to 15th centuries by Champa kingdom Buddhist priests and kings. It was lost until its rediscovery by a French explorer in the late 19th century.
This is a place where Champa men would worship to increase their...male performance.
This is an ancient Champa goddess, magnificently preserved.
"My son"? Boy, you don't waste any time...
I bet that's the first time anyone's ever made that joke...
